Team 5 Return from Haiti

Team 5 returned on Sunday, March 24th after spending 6 days working on the new girls bath & shower house, installing the gable end boards, the bath vanities, a solar hot water heater on the roof, and finished up installing all the plumbing and fixtures. They also cleaned and painted the kitchen that had 2 to 3 inches of grime, grease and dirt that had to be scraped and cleaned before they could repaint with fresh, oil base paint. Thank you for a job well done! It was a very dirty and thankless job. In addition, they ripped out and demolished the old wood stove that had served the cooking duties at EGO for over 35 years. Now there is a brand new propane gas grill that will cook 4 pots at one time without all the smoke and soot from the wood burner. I'm sure that this was a job that no one really wanted, but as the old saying goes, 'someone had to do it!' In addition, the team purchased brand new stainless steel cooking pots to update from the older, cast iron pots.

PASTOR PAUL SHARES GOD'S WORD

The time spent at the Ebenezer Glenn Orphanage by the 11 members of this group varied in their experiences. For some, it was a time to sort out what God is doing in their life. For others, it was a time of searching for God to be able to hear His voice. And for others, it was simply to work. All team members spent time with the many kids at EGO. Some played. Some learned. And some sang and prayed with each other to share the love that God gives His children for one another. Let us be in prayer for the 11 members of this team and remember to thank God for their service!
