Work Team Prepares for Haiti Trip

Dear family and friends,

Bonjou, kijan ou ye? (Haitian Creole for “hi, how are you?”) We are excited to tell you that we’re going back to Haiti with a work team from our church! Yes, there is more construction to be done at Ebenezer Glenn Orphanage, and we’re glad to be part of it!

Last year our construction team worked on the school, and our Pastor and his wife lead Teen programs, a marriage se...
minar and mentored the Pastor at EGO’s church. The cement floors were completed and a 2-story staircase was built, but most importantly, relationships were strengthened with the children and staff at the orphanage. We cherished our time there and feel blessed to return.

We leave November 6th, so we have a month to prepare, gather supplies, raise funds, and PRAY! Will you join us? We would greatly appreciate your prayers and support in any way. Whenever we travel to Haiti, we feel sustained by our family and friends who are praying for our protection, health, and endurance. We can’t do it without you!

Our Pastor will be mentoring and teaching again on this trip. Our construction team will help build a bathroom onto the dormitory. This involves digging a septic field, plumbing, and laying lots of cement blocks! The materials will be approx. $6,000. If you’d like to contribute financially, please send your donation by October 17, to Life Church and put “Haiti—Cooley” on the memo line.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers as we go back to EGO. We are encouraged by your love and support. May God bless you abundantly with His joy and peace.
