Team 3 flies home on Friday morning from Port au Prince, Haiti. After spending 10 days at the Ebenezer Glenn Orphanage, in Marchand Dessalines, this team worked with abandon and dedication at everything they did. The Baby Dorm was painted from top to bottom, with 2 coats of paint on the ceiling, and all the walls and floors scrubbed. All the storage areas and shelves were cleaned and reorganized. 64 bed frames were all painted with a fresh coat of oil based paint. Now, these beds are awaiting new matteresses and new linens. In addition, over at the school, the bond beam was framed and poured. Plus, the gable ends on the main school structure were framed in and painted. Lots more was accomplished. We will update our photo links sometime next week. Have a great week!
